Warpforge unveils Tyranid faction and announces closed alpha
Exclusive demo during Warhammer Skulls introduces Hive Fleet Leviathan and provides preferential access to closed alpha.
Warhammer 40,000: Warpforge receives a new demo with a brand new faction for Warhammer Skulls, from May 25th until June 1st! Prepare for an onslaught of horrors, scythe-limbed aliens and broods of ferocious beasts, as the Tyranid Leviathan Hive Fleet is unveiled for the first time! Taking part in this demo will also provide priority access to a closed alpha period due to start on June 8th.
The new demo will allow players to take control of six different factions including the Leviathan Hive Fleet, only for the duration of Warhammer Skulls, the annual Games Workshop video games festival, from May 25th until 1st June. The Tyranids are one of the most unique factions in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, driven by an insatiable hunger and ready to devour everything in their path. These hordes of voracious aliens seek to absorb all living matter, allowing players to spawn new creatures and swarm their prey, the Tyranids are sure to keep opponents on their toes.
In addition, a closed alpha phase will begin on June 8th. This alpha period will allow a select group of players to test out the game before its full release and provide valuable feedback to the development team. A limited number of invites will be sent out each day to those who pre-register for it through Warpfoge’s website (www.warpforge40k.com) with priority given to those who take part in the Skulls demo. The progress from this alpha period will not be carried over once the game is fully released, but all participants will receive an exclusive commemorative card back!
